Chicken Leg / breast piece is marinated with chopped ginger, garlic, vinegar, soya sauce and olive oil. It is grilled to perfection in a grill pan. It makes a complete healthy meal when served with garlic bread and mashed potatoes / steamed veggies.

INGREDIENTS
4 whole legs / breast boneless
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
1 tsp chilly flakes or to taste
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp soya sauce
Salt to taste
!/2 tsp pepper pd
2 tbsp olive oil / any oil of your choice
Oil for frying
2 onions
PEPPER GARLIC SAUCE
1 tsp chopped garlic
1/4 tsp pepper to taste
Little salt or to taste
1 tsp butter
2 - 3 tbsp tomato sauce / chilly tomato / garlic tomato or to taste
2 - 3 tsp corn flour ( depending on the thickeness you require )
1/2 cup water
METHOD
Clean and wash whole chicken legs / breast and drain it well.
Put gashes in the chicken and slit open so that the marinade goes well inside the leg / breast piece.
In a container / box marinate chicken legs / breast with finely chopped ginger, garlic, chilly flakes, pepper pd, salt, vinegar, oil and soya sauce for 3 - 4 hrs / overnight in the refrigerator.
Boil potatoes well in a pressure cooker. Peel and mash them with salt, pepper and butter. Keep aside.
In a grill pan heat oil and grill chicken steaks while turning them 2 - 3 times( brushing it with little oil as and when required ) till done.
Soak some sliced onion in the left over marinade and stir fry them in the same pan.
To make pepper sauce melt butter in a frying pan stir in chopped garlic then add pepper.
Add tomato sauce.
Mix cornflour in water and mix it to the garlic pepper mixture continue stirring till it turns into not so thick sauce.
Add some salt and taste the sauce for the right flavour.
Serve the chicken steak with mashed potatoes, caramalised onions, pepper garlic sauce and some garlic bread.
NOTE:
You can also serve them with stir fried / steamed vegetables.
You can substitute mashed potatoes with french fries or potato wedges.
