It is a dish prepared in a spicy onion tomato sauce and
boiled eggs. Relished with either, chapatis, phulkas or bread.
INGREDIENTS
6 eggs
2 large onions chopped fine
1 large tomato chopped fine
11/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
3/4 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
1/4 cup chopped coriander
1/2 cup water.
METHOD
Boil eggs cool, peel and keep them aside.
Finely chop onions and tomatoes.
Heat oil in a deep pan.
Fry chopped onions till transparent.
Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes.
Add coriander, cumin, turmeric and chilli powder.
Fry well.
Add salt, sugar and half the coriander leaves.
Cook on slow heat till oil separates.
Add water and cook further till done.
This is a thick gravy.
Now place the eggs in this gravy.
Turn out into a serving bowl
Garnish with remaining coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapati, roti or bread.
