CHICKEN GREEN MASALA

Chicken green masala is a chicken delicacy prepared with

chicken cooked with coriander and green chilly sauce.



INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Boneless chicken

  • I small onion sliced

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • I cup coriander leaves

  • I 1/2 cup chopped onions

  • 2-3 Green chillies

  • 1 1/2 inch Ginger

  • 5-6 Garlic cloves

  • 2 tsp Coriander powder

  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder

  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp Salt or to taste

  • 1/4 tsp Peppercons

  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds

  • Few curry leaves

  • Coriander for garnishing

METHOD

  1. Marinate chicken with ginger, garlic paste , salt and pepper.

  2. Grind to paste corriander leaves, choppped onions, green chillies,ginger, garlic, and all the dry powders.

  3. Heat oil, add whole pepper , curry leaves & cumin seeds.

  4. Add sliced onions and fry to golden brown.

  5. Add the ground masala.

  6. Fry till oil separates.

  7. Add salt.

  8. Add the chicken.

  9. Stir it in and cook.

  10. Add 1/2 cup water.

  11. Cook till done.

  12. Make it into a thick gravy.

  13. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with paratha, phulka, bread, naan.
