RAWA FRIED MASALA POMFRET

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Medium Pomfrets

  • 1 tsp Turmeric

  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder

  • 3/4 tsp Salt

  • 1 1/2 tsp Ginger & Garlic paste

  • 1/2 cup Fine Semolina/ Sooji /Rawa

  • Oil for shallow frying.

METHOD

  1. Clean pomfret and keep whole.

  2. Make slanted slits on the body.

  3. Mix turmeric, chilli pd , salt and ginger garlic paste for marination.

  4. Fill the slits with the marination masala.

  5. Keep aside for 1 hour.

  6. Coat the fish with sooji and pat it.

  7. Shallow fry in a nonstick pan till crisp and done.

  8. Serve hot with Rice, Paratha and some gravy ,or enjoy as it is.
