A quick and easy to make dessert steamed in a pressure cooker . It is a delicious blend of eggs, sugar, milk, bread, vanilla essence and caramel.
INGREDIENTS
3 Eggs
2 Cup milk
6 tbsp Sugar or to taste
1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
1 slice bread
2 tbsp sugar to caramalise
Method
Dissolve sugar in a cooking dish and cook on low flame till it melts and turns into dark brown liquid.
Cool it down.
Add eggs and sugar in a blender.
Add milk and vanilla essence.
Mix in crumbled bread.
Pour this egg and milk mixture into the dish with caramalised sugar.
Place some water in a pressure cooker.
Place a perforated metal plate (cookers usually have them).
Over this place the pudding dish to be steamed.
Cover it with a lid / foil and steam it in a pressure cooker without weight for 20 minutes.
Take the pudding out of the cooker, turn upside down into a dish and serve.
